Haugh Field is a half mile track set up in a grass field owned by local farmers the Muirhead family. It is based a little more than a stones throw away from Scotland’s only hard track Corbiewood. Starting back in 2002 Haugh Field was initially held once per year for the Gay Gordon and Allan Family trophy however in 2006 the introduction of the CALA Homes Classic meant an additional race meeting at Haugh Field. |

Both meetings are well supported by the local horses and each year horses travel from England, Wales and Ireland to take part. |

There is a licensed bar and bookies for the adults along with ice cream and bouncy castles for the kids. There is always a warm and friendly atmosphere at these race meetings and an excellent day is had by all. |
